Hello! I am Haruna Adoga, a passionate HPC Systems Engineer, IT Consultant, and Researcher with a focus on Network Programmability, Edge Computing, Infrastructure Automation, HPC and Cloud Computing. I have a strong background in designing and managing high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructures, specializing in network programmability and virtualization technologies.
I hold a PhD in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow, UK, where my research focused on leveraging NFV heterogeneity at the network edge. My work has been published in reputable journals and conferences, and I am actively involved in research collaborations.
I am a member of several professional organizations, including the British Computer Society (BCS), Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET), and IEEE. I am also a certified AWS Solutions Architect and hold multiple networking certifications.
My skills include Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), automation (Ansible), datacentre networking, HPC storage (Lustre/CEPH), and cloud platforms (OpenStack, AWS, GCP). Beyond engineering, I have over 10 years of teaching experience—previously offering coporate and one-on-one IT training in Networking, Linux, Cloud, Infrastructure Automation, IaC, designing and managing AI infrastructure.
Currently, I design and manage HPC infrastructure at a university while contributing to research and strategic IT initiatives. I welcome collaborations — reach out to discuss projects or IT training opportunities!
