I am a seasoned Network, Systems, and HPC Engineer with a proven track record in designing, automating, and managing large-scale on-premises and cloud infrastructures supporting AI workloads. I hold a PhD from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, with a research focus on Network Programmability, Edge/Cloud Computing, and Network Function Virtualization (NFV).
My expertise spans Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, automation with Ansible, datacentre networking and server administration, high-speed 200Gbps ethernet networking, Lustre storage, CEPH storage, as well as deployment and management of public and private clouds, including OpenStack, AWS and GCP. I also lead strategic IT planning initiatives, helping organizations align infrastructure with business goals.
In addition to my technical skills, I am a passionate educator and researcher, with over 10 years of experience teaching Computing Science courses at the university level. I have published several research papers in top-tier conferences and journals, and I am a regular reviewer for IEEE and ACM conferences.
I am currently a High-Performance Computing (HPC) Systems Engineer where I am responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the university's HPC infrastructure.
I am always looking for new opportunities to collaborate on exciting projects, so please feel free to reach out if you would like to work together!
